Duties and Responsibilities:
As a Business Trainee in the payroll department, you will assist with payroll processing and handling pay-related queries, ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely and accurate manner. You will be working as part of a small, supportive team and will have the chance to develop your skills in payroll administration and finance.
Day-to-day tasks may include:
- Assist with the payroll process, ensuring all employee payments are accurate.
- Resolve payroll-related queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Perform daily banking entries and ensure accurate transactions in the accounting system.
- Assist with the preparation, analysis, and distribution of daily payroll reports.
- Ensure payroll tasks are completed within strict deadlines.
- Maintain effective and clear written and verbal communication in all payroll matters.
- Provide administrative support to the finance team during busy periods.

Position Requirements:
To fulfil the requirements of Business Traineeship with Golden West Apprenticeships you will:
- Abide by the terms and conditions of the Training Contract.
- Complete Golden West Apprenticeships inductions.
- Perform work in a satisfactory manner.
- Commit to and complete the Training Plan in the timeframe allocated by completing theory based assessments and demonstrating skills through competency based assessments to the best of your ability.
- Comply with registration relevant to your field of work, in particular the Further Education and Training Act and the Work Health and Safety Act.
